Job summary

The Citadel Healthcare in Northbrook, IL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team. The CNA assists patients with daily living activities under the supervision of a nurse, delivering compassionate, personalized care and monitoring residents' well-being.

Responsibilities include helping with bathing, dressing, eating, mobility, taking vital signs, medication assistance, and reporting changes to the nursing staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• State CNA license/certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Good collaboration and teamwork with nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Take and record vital signs under supervision.
• Assist with medication administration and dietary needs as directed.
• Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Maintain clean rooms and protect patient dignity.
