Job summary

Westmoreland Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Virginia is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents in a sub-acute and long-term setting. You will assist with daily living tasks, monitor residents, and support a team focused on dignity and quality of life.

Full-time and part-time opportunities are available with competitive hourly pay between $18.50 and $23, plus benefits and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active CNA license in the state of employment.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to providing high-quality resident care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.
• Provide supportive care and services to ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well-being for all residents.
• Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.
