Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Vernal, Utah is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide resident care under supervision, following care plans and facility procedures. You will assist with activities of daily living, mobility, meal support, documentation, and reporting changes to nurses, while upholding dignity, safety, and HIPAA-compliant confidentiality.

This is a long-term care setting requiring teamwork and compassion.

Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state (preferred, not required).
High school diploma or equivalent.
Current CPR/BLS certification
Current Food Handler Permit
Must have no disciplinary action in effect against certification.
At least one year of experience as a CNA in long-term care (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

Provide supportive services to nurse and staff and perform duties as assigned.
Assist residents with activities of daily living according to care plans.
Assist with lifting, turning, moving and positioning residents.
Coordinate dining room services at meals, including setup, delivery and feeding assistance.
Document meal intake and report changes to nurse and supervisor.
Assist with weighing residents and record in designated locations.
Monitor skin condition and report issues to nurse/supervisor.
Support toileting program activities and complete flow sheets daily.
Inform nurse of resident condition changes and document progress as directed.
