Job summary

Americare Senior Living in Fairview Heights, IL, is seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to provide high-quality, resident-centered care in a safe, home-like environment. You will support residents with daily living activities while ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Responsibilities include direct care, ADL assistance, accurate documentation, and HIPAA compliance. Shift options include full & part time on 2nd shift with weekend rotation; CPR and medication

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical and emotional care to residents, including personal hygiene, transferring, and lifting.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and meal support.
• Accurately observe, document, and report resident care, conditions, and concerns.
• Communicate effectively during shift handoffs with oncoming and outgoing staff.
• Follow resident care plans and maintain a safe, respectful living environment.
• Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident rooms and common areas.
• Greet visitors, answer phone calls, and assist with tours as needed.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
