Job summary

Reflections Retirement Community in Vandalia, IL is seeking a part-time CNA for 2nd shift to deliver individualized resident care and support daily living activities. You will follow care plans, promote independence, and maintain dignity while communicating changes to the clinical team.

Ideal candidates hold a CNA certification, a high school diploma or GED, and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, compassion, and a commitment to resident well-being.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED equivalent required.
• Current certification from an accredited CNA program.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan
• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
• Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
• Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
• Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information
• Perform any other duties as assigned
