Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold Michigan CNA Certification or be eligible to test and certify within 4 months.
• One year of experience in long-term care, hospice, or health care.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality nursing care to residents in an environment that promotes rights and dignity.
• Follows individualized care plans and supports care planning with observations.
• Attends to grooming, bathing, feeding, mobility, and other needs per plan.
• Maintains comfort, privacy, and a caring environment; keeps rooms tidy.
• Reports incidents or changes to the Charge Nurse promptly.
• Supports safety and infection control procedures and hand hygiene.
• Completes documentation in PCC as required.
• Assists with admissions, transfers, and accompanying residents to activities.
