Job summary

Intersect Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant for a 2pm-10pm shift. You will provide quality nursing care to residents, support the care team, and help maintain residents’ rights and dignity in a safe, clean environment.

The role requires Michigan CNA certification or completion of approved training, with prior experience in long-term care or related health care settings preferred. Excellent communication and physical stamina are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan Certified Nurse Aide Certification or have completed a Michigan approved CNA training program and are eligible to test.
• One year of experience in the long-term care, hospice, or health care desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to residents.
• Coordinate with the charge nurse and care team to support department operations.
• Attend to residents' grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting and other care per care plans.
• Maintain residents' dignity, privacy, and comfort; ensure a clean environment.
• Observe for changes in residents' condition and report promptly to the Charge Nurse.
• Assist with mobilization, transferring, and basic clinical tasks as directed.
