Job summary

Harmony Village of Clinton is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) on a fulltime and part-time basis. The role emphasizes delivering quality resident care, following individualized care plans, and maintaining dignity and comfort in a long-term care setting.

The CNA will coordinate with the care team, document care activities, and report changes to the Charge Nurse, while upholding safety, infection control, and resident rights.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan Certified Nurse Aide Certification or have completed a Michigan approved CNA training program
• Must be certified within 4 months of hire
• One year of experience in the long-term care, hospice, or health care desired

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to residents
• Coordinate work within the department and with other departments
• Report pertinent information to the immediate supervisor and assist with tasks to support department operations
• Attend to residents' needs including grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, and mobility
• Maintain residents' comfort, privacy, and dignity and ensure a safe, clean environment
• Document care provided and report changes in residents' condition promptly
• Assist with orientation of residents and families during admission and transfers
• Follow safety and infection control procedures and participate in staff meetings
