Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our patient-focused team. Full-Time and Part-Time positions available with day or night 12-hour shifts across various inpatient and specialty units based on experience.

You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor patient conditions, support mobility, and maintain safety and cleanliness. The role requires a high school diploma, completion of the NAI program, and NA I registry listing; BLS and Medication

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma required.
• Completion of NAI program required.
• Experience: One year preferred.
• Licensure/certification/registration: Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I required. BLS Health Care Provider required. Medication Safety – AME required.
• Additional skills preferred: Basic computer skills for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team.
• Support patient mobility, comfort, and safety.
• Measure and record vital signs as directed.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare team members to provide outstanding patient care.
