Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our inpatient care teams. Full-time and part-time options exist with day or night 12-hour shifts across various units.

You will support activities of daily living, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with the nursing team to deliver high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, NAI program completion, and CNA registration with BLS and Medication Safety training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; completion of NAI program required.
• One year of CNA experience preferred.
• NAI registry listing as NA I; BLS required; Medication Safety – AME required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding).
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team.
• Support patient mobility, comfort, and safety.
• Measure and record vital signs as directed.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare team members to provide outstanding patient care.
