Job summary

Aspire Senior Living Platte City, a skilled nursing facility in Platte City, MO, is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our team. You will administer prescribed medications, document administration, and monitor resident responses under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

This on-site role offers full-time evenings with 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends, plus an enhanced shift differential up to $4/hour.

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification in Missouri.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in long-term care or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by a licensed nurse.
• Accurately document medication administration and resident responses.
• Observe residents for side effects and report adverse reactions to the nursing team.
• Assist with daily living activities as needed, including personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility support.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations.
• Promote a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.
