Job summary

Kirkwood Wellness & Rehabilitation in Kirkwood, MO is hiring Certified Medication Technicians (CMTs) to join our nursing team under new ownership by OPCO Skilled Management. Shifts include day 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM and evening 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM with both full-time and part-time opportunities.

As a CMT, you will administer medications, monitor residents, document care, and support ADLs under supervision of a licensed nurse, ensuring safety, dignity and resident-focused care.

Qualifications

• Current Missouri Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification is required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification may be required by state regulations.
• Prior experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or related healthcare roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately in accordance with physician orders and state regulations.
• Observe residents for medication effectiveness and report changes to the licensed nurse.
• Document medication administration accurately and timely.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Monitor residents for adverse medication reactions or changes in condition.
• Maintain accurate medication records and documentation.
