Mercy Health in Youngstown, OH is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to work in the Eisenhower Primary Care practice. The CMA will support the physician by updating health records, preparing treatment rooms, and ensuring patient care is delivered within state guidelines.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, taking vital signs, reviewing charts, and performing clerical duties while maintaining compassionate, respectful patient interactions.

Qualifications

• One year of medical assistant healthcare experience (preferred, not required).
• Two years of clerical experience in a physician's office (preferred, not required).

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and provide excellent customer service.
• Prepare & review patient charts for upcoming visits by verifying that all diagnostic test results, hospital reports, and other medical records are correct and up to date.
• Measures vital signs such as pulse rate, respiration, blood pressure, weight, and height.
• Performs departmental-related clerical duties such as checking inventory, stock supplies, track referrals, and answer phones as needed.
• Must possess the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly.
• Other duties as assigned
