Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; CMA certification within 12 months of start date
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) for hire date
• One year of medical assistant experience preferred
• Clerical experience in a physician's office is a plus

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide courteous patient care
• Review and update patient charts with accurate information
• Measure vital signs and prepare treatment rooms
• Perform clerical duties: inventory, referrals, phone duties
• Troubleshoot problems promptly as they arise
• Other duties as assigned
