Mercy Health in Youngstown, OH seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support physicians in a busy Heart and Vascular Institute. You will review health records, measure vitals, and prepare rooms for exams, while maintaining top patient service.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, CMA certification within 12 months of start, and BLS. Prior clinical experience is preferred; clerical skills in a physician's office are also valuable.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Active CMA certification within 12 months of start date or ABR-OE accepted (not in SC).
• BLS certification required at hire or prior to independent patient care per location.
• One year medical assistant experience preferred, clerical experience in a physician's office also acceptable.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and visitors with respectful, professional service.
• Review and update patient charts; verify diagnostic results and records.
• Measure vital signs (pulse, respiration, BP, height, weight).
• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for examinations.
• Perform routine clerical tasks: inventory, referrals tracking, phone coverage.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly as part of the team.
