Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for the Little Miami Health Center. The CMA will work closely with the primary care physician to ensure patient care meets state guidelines, reviewing and updating health records, and preparing treatment rooms for examinations.

The role requires assisting with patient flow, measuring vitals, and performing related clerical tasks while delivering compassionate, respectful service to patients and families in the community.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED is required.
• Active CMA or CMA/RMA/CCMA among approved MA certifications.
• BLS Basic Life Support required at hire.
• One year of medical assistant experience preferred.
• Two years of clerical experience in a physician's office preferred.
• Must be able to greet patients and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide excellent customer service.
• Prepare and review patient charts for upcoming visits by verifying diagnostic tests and hospital reports.
• Measure vital signs including pulse, respiration, blood pressure, weight and height.
• Perform clerical duties such as inventory, stocking supplies, track referrals and answer phones.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly.
• Other duties as assigned.
