Job summary

Mercy Health seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support a primary care physician at St. Vincent Medical Center Medical Office Building 2. You will help deliver high-quality patient care, update health records, and prepare treatment spaces for examinations.

The role requires an active CMA certification and Basic Life Support. Candidates with one year of healthcare experience and strong customer service are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active Medical Assisting certification required or ABR-OE alternative.
• BLS certification required by some locations or prior to independent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with excellent customer service.
• Review and update patient charts for upcoming visits.
• Measure vital signs such as pulse, respiration, BP, weight and height.
• Prepare treatment rooms and review records for accuracy.
• Handle clerical duties and answer phones as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly.
• Other duties as assigned.
