Job summary

Donor Network West is seeking a Clinical Procurement Coordinator I to respond to donor referrals, assess suitability, and coordinate organ recovery and distribution in collaboration with hospital staff.

The role includes supporting donor families, providing compassionate bedside guidance, and maintaining accurate case documentation across DNWest systems. Travel across the service area is required, with ongoing professional development and adherence to UNOS standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Nursing or biological sciences.
• Has 2 years’ experience in critical care setting or a minimum of 1 year experience other OPO clinical role.
• Obtains and maintains ACLS Certification.
• Must have ability to travel within the Donor Network West service area.
• Must have valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Respond to donor referrals and provide onsite consultation.
• Conduct chart reviews and determine medical suitability with clinical staff.
• Document information in DNWest’s electronic records.
• Coordinate organ recovery with OR staff and DNWest’s Recovery Services.
• Support donor families and provide bedside education and answers.
