Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Technician to administer medications and support residents in a warm, home-like environment.

As a CMT, you will collaborate with nursing teams, maintain MAR documentation, and ensure safety and dignity for residents. CPR certification is required or obtained within six months, and state licensure/training is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must have state Medication Technician license and competency per state protocol.
• CPR certification required or obtainable within six months of hire.
• Must have current CNA certification or completed CHHA or homemaker/personal care homemaker training.

Responsibilities

• Communicates questions, concerns, and/or discrepancies related to medication administration to the Resident Care Director (RCD).
• Communicates any significant change of mental or physical status of resident to RCD.
• Documents supervision of self-administration in MAR.
• Documents/ notifies RCD of administration of prn meds.
• Responsible for documentation on prn meds and affect.
• Recognizes and can assist in the prevention of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
