Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our team. As a CMT, you will deliver care to residents in a warm, home-like environment, ensuring medication administration is accurate and well-documented.

Responsibilities include communicating with the Resident Care Director, reporting changes in resident status, and completing required competency reviews. A state license and CPR certification are required or must be obtained within six months of

Qualifications

• Must have state Medication Technician License and demonstrate competency per state protocol.
• Quarterly competency review supervised by RN/RCD.
• CPR certification required or within six months of hire.
• Complete state-approved training in drug administration and obtain certificate.

Responsibilities

• Communicates questions or discrepancies related to medication administration to the Resident Care Director (RCD).
• Reports significant changes in resident status to the RCD.
• Documents supervision of self-administration in MAR.
• Documents/ notifies RCD of administration of PRN meds.
• Maintains documentation on PRN meds and affects.
• Recognizes and helps prevent elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
