Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have current, active and unrestricted Certified Medication Aide Certification
• CPR certification required
• Legible, accurate documentation on medication records and resident chart

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and treatments according to schedule and protocol
• Documents on 24 hour communication reports
• Maintains medication room and cart organization
• Notifies Charge Nurse/Unit Manager of changes in condition
• Assists with cycle fill or re-ordering of medications
• Assists with medication administration-related tasks as needed
