Job summary

The Mary Campbell Center is seeking a CDL Driver to safely transport residents, staff, and authorized passengers to appointments and activities. You will operate vehicles with accessibility equipment, ensuring dignified and compassionate service in varying conditions.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with boarding, maintaining safety and privacy, and completing logs and inspections. A valid CDL and clean driving record are required, with preference for experience with individuals

Qualifications

• CDL license required for vehicle operated
• Valid license and driving record meeting insurance requirements
• Experience with transporting individuals with disabilities or special needs preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL vehicles in accordance with applicable regulations
• Transport residents to medical appointments, day programs, and community activities
• Assist residents with boarding and exiting while maintaining dignity and safety
• Secure wheelchairs and mobility devices and use seat belts as required
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report safety concerns
• Maintain transportation logs and records as required
• Follow routes, schedules, and transportation procedures
• Keep vehicles clean, safe, and sanitary
• Monitor passengers and report incidents to staff
• Follow emergency procedures and HIPAA/privacy requirements
• Assist with loading/unloading belongings and equipment
• Complete vehicle maintenance and safety documentation
• Performs other duties as assigned
