Job summary

Covenant Retirement Communities & Covenant Care is seeking a Driver to transport residents to medical appointments, community events, and admissions from local hospitals, while ensuring safety and courtesy. This role includes assisting residents with boarding, performing daily van checks, and reporting issues as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL license if applicable.
• Minimum 2+ years driving or transport experience recommended.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist residents safely.

Responsibilities

• Drive the van on scheduled appointments and activities.
• Assist residents onto and off the vehicle and to destination if required.
• Notify supervisor of any necessary vehicle repairs.
• Complete daily van checklist and check gas before trips.
• Monitor vehicle inspection schedule and maintain safety.
• Keep van interior/exterior clean; report hazards and ensure safety.
