Job summary

JEVS Care at Home is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our home care team in the community. You will assist clients with daily activities per their care plan, promoting independence and dignity while using provided PPE and training.

We offer training, dementia care, CPR/First Aid, weekly pay, and in-services. Certification is preferred but not required, and all caregivers complete orientation and annual recertification.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A High School diploma or GED is required.
• Certified Nurse Aide Certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to effectively communicate with Client Care Manager.
• Completion of Caregiver Orientation; pass post-orientation exam (80%+).
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist the client in daily life per care plan.
• Support independence; provide training on ADLs; PPE provided.
• CPR, First Aid, and Dementia Training provided as Professional Development.
• Encourage independent living philosophy.
• Complete competency exam after training and orientation; annual recertification.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information per HIPAA regulations.
• Complete instrumental activities of daily living per client’s Plan of Care.
