Job summary

At Peace Healthcare Agency is hiring compassionate Caregivers / Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to join our growing team. We welcome applicants with backgrounds as HHA, PCA, or direct care workers who enjoy helping seniors and adults with disabilities.

As a Caregiver/PCA, you will provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support while helping clients maintain dignity and independence in their own homes. We offer weekly pay and benefits to our dedicated team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred.
• Proof of current TB testing required.
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• If transporting clients, must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be mature, caring, punctual, and dependable.
• Ability to work independently while following the client's care plan.
• Must successfully pass required criminal background and fingerprint checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care and companionship based on each client's care plan.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, ADLs, and personal hygiene.
• Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and perform light housekeeping.
• Assist with laundry and maintain a clean, safe home environment.
• Provide mobility support, transfers, and safe movement throughout the home.
• Offer medication reminders according to the care plan.
• Provide transportation to appointments or community activities when applicable.
• Offer emotional support and encourage independence and social engagement.
