Job summary

At Peace Healthcare Agency is seeking compassionate Caregivers / Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our growing team. You will provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support to clients while helping them maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life in their homes.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred.
• Proof of current TB testing required.
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• If transporting clients, must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be mature, caring, punctual, and dependable.
• Ability to work independently while following the client's care plan.
• Must successfully pass required criminal background and fingerprint checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care and companionship.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and ADLs.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding; light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and daily routines per care plan.
• Provide medication reminders according to care plan.
• Support transportation to medical appointments and community activities.
