Job summary

At Peace Healthcare Agency is hiring compassionate caregivers and PCAs to join our growing team. You will provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support in clients' homes, helping them maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• 1 year of personal care experience preferred
• Previous experience as a Caregiver, PCA, HHA, Home Health Aide, or similar role is a plus
• Proof of current TB testing required
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties
• Must have reliable transportation
• If transporting clients, must have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be mature, caring, punctual, and dependable
• Ability to work independently while following the client’s care plan
• Must successfully pass required criminal background and fingerprint checks

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support based on each client’s care plan
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and ADLs
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding; light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide companionship and support; encourage independence and social engagement
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe movement around the home
• Provide medication reminders according to the care plan
• Assist with transportation to medical appointments and errands when applicable
