Assisting Hands Home Care in Washington state is seeking a compassionate, reliable caregiver to provide personal care and meaningful companionship in clients’ homes. You’ll help with daily tasks, promote safety, and build trusted relationships based on respect and empathy.

This role offers an overnight schedule 2–3 days per week, flexible hours, and ongoing training. You’ll work with a supportive team, use AxisCare to document care, and contribute to clients’ comfort, dignity, and joy.

Formación

• Must be 18 years or older.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 2 weeks).
• Reliable transportation, valid insurance, and good driving record.
• Previous home care or long-term care experience preferred — not required

Responsabilidades

• Assisting with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
• Helping with mobility and safe transfers
• Meal preparation and nutritional support
• Medication reminders
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Transportation to appointments, errands, and social activities
• Supporting clients living with Alzheimer’s or dementia
• Documenting care using AxisCare app
• Following all safety and infection-control policies

What You’ll Do

Qualifications

• Responsible, mature, and dependable
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
• CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 2 weeks)
• Reliable transportation, valid insurance, and good driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and TB test (or obtain within 2 weeks)
• Previous home care or long-term care experience preferred — not required

Schedule

OVERNIGHT shift 2-3 days per week. Additional hours may be available.
