Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to obtain Medication Manager certification on-site if not certified.
• Prior healthcare, geriatrics, or elderly care experience preferred.
• Desire to work with geriatric population.

Responsibilities

• Bathe and clean residents as needed.
• Follow medication administration protocols for each resident.
• Assist in grooming and personal care for residents.
• Make beds and keep rooms tidy and organized.
• Answer emergency calls promptly.
• Assist residents with bedpan, urinal, or commode as needed.
• Take and report vital signs and measurements as requested; report unusual findings.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, ROM, and daily activities of living.
• Respect resident privacy and dignity; follow Resident Bill of Rights.
