Job summary

Calveria Camden is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide care and support for residents under the supervision of the Wellness Director and Wellness Manager. You will implement each Resident Service Plan and help with daily living activities and health monitoring.

The role requires physical stamina to assist with lifting up to 60 pounds, and a team‑oriented, reliable attitude. Full time, part time, day and night shifts are available at this location.

Qualifications

• State Nurse’s Aide registration preferred but not required.
• Experience and passion in working with seniors.
• Able to lift and move up to 60 pounds.
• Physically capable of demanding tasks and long shifts.
• Maintain health and avoid communicable diseases.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, mobility).
• Report changes in residents' health to the Wellness Director promptly.
• Keep medical supplies inventory and assist with ordering when needed.
• Help arrange shift coverage when call outs occur.
• Support wellness director in planning assignments.
• Assist in orienting and onboarding new Wellness Associates.
• Respond to emergencies with first aid and arrange follow-up.
• Help residents keep units clean, neat and orderly.
• Answer calls for assistance and attend to needs promptly.
• Assist with clothing, laundry, and meal service as instructed.
• Participate in at least 6 hours of in-service education per year.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
