Job summary

Compassion Care Staffing is hiring caregivers for full-time and part-time positions in Illinois. Primary duties include assisting residents with daily nursing care, activities of daily living, and comfort, under supervision.

You will document actions, respond to calls, and protect patient privacy in line with HIPAA. Current CPR certification is preferred but not required; prior senior living experience is a plus.

• Senior living experience preferred, not required
• Ability to sit, stand, bend and walk regularly; lift/move up to 25–50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Provide daily nursing care and services to residents per care plan and supervisor directions
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (hygiene, feeding, etc.)
• Maintain resident comfort, respond to call lights, report observations to nursing supervisor
• Document actions in forms, reports, logs and records
• Protect privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and laws

Job Summary:

The primary purpose of a Caregiver is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.

Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (personal hygiene, feeding, etc.)
• Provide for resident comfort by utilizing resources and materials: answering call lights and requests, reporting observations of the residents to the nursing supervisor
• Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs and records
• Protect privacy and dignity by keeping patient information confidential; comply with HIPAA guidelines and related laws
