Job summary

COOPERRIVERALF is seeking a dedicated Caregiver for 1st or 2nd shift on a full-time basis to provide daily care and support to residents in our healthcare setting. The role requires following care plans, assisting with daily activities, reporting changes, and maintaining a safe, compassionate environment.

Training will be provided to ensure high-quality resident care. You will work with nursing staff to help residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and hygiene, and you must document

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily care and services per resident assessment and care plan.
• Use PCC to ensure correct resident information when assisting with ADLs and meals.
• Report changes in residents' condition to Health and Wellness Director promptly.
• Record entries on notes, SPAs, and incident reports in an informative manner.
• Notify nursing staff and supervisors of any accidents or issues observed during shift.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information and report any unauthorized disclosures.
• Assist with daily resident tasks, including mobility, positioning, and personal care as trained.
• Greet residents, escort to rooms, and introduce them to roommates and staff.
• Ensure rooms are prepared for residents, including bed making and keeping them comfortable.
