Job summary

Vitality Living Group in Richardson, TX is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Specialist to support residents with daily activities and treatments, aligned with care plans. You will help maintain dignity, promote independence, and foster a sense of belonging within a vibrant community.

You will assist with emotional health, observe resident needs, participate in onboarding and training, and follow policies. Strong English communication and compassion are essential, and you must meet state health

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Meet state health related requirements.
• Maintain any certification as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities per service plans.
• Assist residents with simple treatments per service plans.
• Support residents with emotional health and behavioral needs.
• Perform other duties per service plans (laundry and pet care).
• Participate in onboarding, annual and in-service training and team meetings.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures of the company.
• Observe and report resident problems to LPN or Medication Tech/Aid.
• Report resident issues to supervisor as requested.
