Job summary

REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family, is hiring a caregiver to support individuals with developmental disabilities in Bemidji, MN. You will assist with personal hygiene, help participants engage in community activities, and support them in achieving daily goals.

Shifts include Tue and Thu 9am-3pm with every-other-weekend 11am-7pm, or Mon/Tue 3pm-11pm with every-other-Sat/Sun 3pm-11pm. Competitive pay and benefits accompany meaningful, mission-driven work.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene and daily routines.
• Support participants who have developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges.
• Help participants engage in community activities and social opportunities.
• Assist with personal goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
