Job summary

HomeWell Care Services of NWI is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team to provide one-on-one, non-medical in-home support for seniors who wish to age in place. This role focuses on dignity, empathy, and personalized care with a commitment to improving quality of life.

Typical duties include companionship, daily living assistance, transportation, and safety support. We offer fast-track hiring, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for advancement to help you grow within the company.

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification is required, but CNA/HHA or 6+ months of geriatric care preferred.
• Experience with dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus.
• Must be physically able to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone.

Responsibilities

• Social companionship for clients.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as feeding, bathing, grooming, and light housekeeping.
• Provide transportation to appointments, errands and social outings.
• Standby assistance with transfers.
• Overnight safety assistance.
