Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking Care Partners to deliver compassionate, personalized direct care for residents in a supportive community setting. You’ll assist with daily living activities, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity while promoting independence and privacy.

You will work in a team to support residents, participate in enrichment activities, and communicate openly with families and healthcare professionals. Weekend rotations may be required and training opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current caregiver certification per state requirements (CNA/GNA/PCA/DCA).
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring).
• Provide compassionate care, engagement, and companionship to promote independence.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Assist with light housekeeping duties (making beds, tidying rooms).
• Promote open communication between healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
