Job summary

Right at Home Southern Oregon is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to help seniors and adults with disabilities live safely and independently in their own homes throughout the Rogue Valley, including Medford and surrounding areas. You will provide companionship, assist with daily activities, and contribute to a trusted home-care relationship.

Qualifications

• Ability to successfully pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation and a valid ID.
• Compassion, reliability, and a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Building meaningful relationships through companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Assisting with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Providing medication reminders.
• Assisting with mobility and transportation.
• Helping maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive home environment.
• Following individual care plans and accurately documenting daily care notes using our mobile app.
• Communicating effectively with our office team.
