Job summary

Right at Home Southern Oregon is seeking a caring in-home Caregiver to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their own homes across the Rogue Valley. You’ll provide personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance while following individual care plans and documenting daily notes.

Qualifications

• Background check is required.
• Reliable transportation and valid ID.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Previous caregiving experience (CNA, PCA, HHA or companion care) welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Build relationships through companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility and transportation.
• Ensure safety and peace of mind.
• Follow care plans and document daily care notes using our mobile app.
• Communicate effectively with the office team.

About the Role

As a Right at Home Caregiver, you'll provide compassionate, in-home support that enables seniors and vulnerable adults to continue living safely and independently in the comfort of their homes.

• Providing personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

• Building meaningful relationships through companionship, conversation, and emotional support.

• Assisting with light housekeeping and meal preparation.

• Providing medication reminders.

• Assisting with mobility and transportation.

• Safety supervision and peace of mind.

• Following individual care plans and accurately documenting daily care notes using our mobile app.

• Communicating effectively with our office team.

Skills & Experience

We're looking for caring individuals who are passionate about helping others. You'll be successful in this role if you have:

• Successfully pass a background check.

• Reliable transportation and valid ID.

• Compassion, reliability, and a positive attitude.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Previous caregiving experience, CNA, PCA, HHA, or companion care experience is welcomed but not essential. We provide ongoing training and support to help you succeed.
