Job summary

Allpro Staffnet d/b/a Allpro Homecare is seeking a Caregiver to provide quality non-medical homecare to our veteran population. Flexible shifts, part-time or full-time options, and benefits are available to qualified applicants.

You will offer companionship, assist with daily living activities, and support clients with mobility, meals, and personal care while maintaining respect and safety at all times.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a background check; renewal every 2 years.
• State-required SOR and Abuse Registry checks; annual.
• State-required personal reference check.
• State-required 5-year employment history checks.
• 1 year caregiver experience.
• Valid driver’s license or state ID with reliable transportation.
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Adequate physical endurance.

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Perform housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Assist with transfers and ambulation using cane, walker, wheelchair or Hoyer Lift.
• Help clients with bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Plan, prepare and serve meals with client input.
• Assist with toileting, including bedpan or toilet use.
• Report unusual events to the administrator.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Complete other duties per the Client Service Plan.
