Job summary

Civitas Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support residents with daily living activities and to help create a comfortable home-like environment. You will assist with ADLs, meals, mobility, and daily tasks, while promoting engagement and social connections.

No prior experience is required; on-the-job training is provided, and benefits include health coverage, PTO, and growth opportunities within a supportive team dedicated to senior care.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving is beneficial, especially with individuals with dementia.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and patient demeanor.
• Empathy, a positive attitude and a commitment to compassionate care.
• Willingness to undergo on-the-job training; no prior experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility.
• Encourage participation in community activities and provide companionship.
• Help with meal preparation and service, light housekeeping and maintaining a home-like environment.
• Provide reminders and assist with medications as needed.
