Discovery Senior Living is seeking a Caregiver to enrich residents’ lives through hands-on care and connection. You will support physical and emotional needs in a safe, home-like setting with a focus on dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred
• High School diploma or GED required
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Prior experience with seniors preferred
• Strong communication with residents and team
• Compassionate, resident-focused approach with customer service
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Care for a designated group of residents during shift, noting whereabouts and checking regularly
• Provide daily personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transfers, eating assistance
• Respond promptly to security alarms and resident call bells
• Promote independence while ensuring safety and dignity
• Keep resident rooms and work areas clean and organized
• Offer companionship, encouragement, and emotional support
• Engage residents in meaningful life skills and activities
• Notify supervisor if a resident’s care needs increase
• Other duties as assigned
