Job summary

Monarch Communities in Watchung, NJ, is seeking a per diem Caregiver to support residents under the Health & Wellness Director. This hourly role pays base $20.00–$21.00 per hour and includes on-site duties such as personal care, meals, and activities, with training provided.

Experience with elderly care and CNAs/CHHAs is preferred. Responsibilities include documentation and reporting any changes in residents’ conditions to supervision. Perks include flexible schedule and free parking.

Qualifications

• CNA or CHHA certification required.
• Experience with elderly care preferred (dementia experience a plus).

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding as per care plan.
• Maintain safety, dignity, and confidentiality of residents.
• Escort residents to meals and activities.
• Ensure residents are clean, groomed, and fed during shifts.
• Document services provided during each shift.
• Report changes in residents’ condition to supervisor.
