Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a part-time Caregiver to support residents in daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, mobility, and meals. You will work 6am-2pm on Sunday through Tuesday, providing compassionate care and maintaining residents' dignity with strong customer service.

Responsibilities include following care plans, documenting observations, assisting during meals, and ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Nurses Aid certification preferred.
• Current first aid certification.
• Must read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident needs promptly while maintaining dignity and safety (50%).
• Follow care plans to ensure proper care to residents (10%).
• Assist with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, hygiene, meals, mobility (20%).
• Assist at mealtime with selecting meals, serving, and clearing trays (3%).
• Transport residents and assist with transfers using safe techniques (3%).
• Perform regular safety checks on residents (1%).
• Encourage participation in activities and daily tasks (3%).
• Handle laundry and assist with community activities as required (1%).
• Manage oxygen tanks per MD orders for resident needs (1%).
• Chart and document information and report changes to supervisor (4%).
• Respond to alerts and emergencies as needed (3%).
• Assist with safety drills to ensure resident safety (1%).
