Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have current First Aid, CPR, and Medication Management Certifications (as required by state) and maintain through training.
• Nurses Aid Certification preferred unless required by state.
• Food Handler’s Card preferred; training provided if not held.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, hygiene, meals, and mobility.
• Provide hands-on care with compassion and maintain residents’ social and emotional well-being.
• Record and report changes in residents’ condition and follow ISP guidelines.
• Support safety, dignity, privacy, and confidentiality per policies and procedures.
• Assist with mealtimes, transfers, and safe transport using proper lifting techniques.
• Complete housekeeping and laundry tasks for residents and community as assigned.
