Job summary

Discovery Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Caregiver at our Trinity, FL community. You will provide hands-on care and emotional support, helping residents with daily activities and maintaining a safe, home-like environment. CNA preferred; HS diploma or GED required; 18+ and prior senior care experience are advantages.

You’ll work closely with residents and staff, promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing through compassionate service and effective communication.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior experience working with seniors preferred.
• Strong communication skills with residents, team members, and leadership.
• Compassionate, resident-focused approach with superior customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care and physical and emotional support to residents.
• Assist with daily personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating.
• Respond promptly to security system and resident call bells.
• Maintain a safe, home-like environment.
