Job summary

Discovery Village Tallahassee is seeking a caring Caregiver to enrich the lives of seniors and provide hands-on support in a home-like setting.

You will assist with daily activities, monitor safety, and help residents maintain dignity and independence while delivering compassionate service.

Qualifications include a CNA (preferred) and a HS diploma or GED; 18+ and prior senior care experience are advantageous. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred; High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to work with seniors.
• Prior experience with seniors is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care and support to residents during shift.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and eating.
• Respond promptly to call bells and system alerts.
• Encourage independence while ensuring safety and comfort.
• Maintain clean, organized resident rooms and areas.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Engage residents in meaningful life skills activities.
• Notify supervisors of increased care needs; follow care plans.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
