Job summary

Discovery Senior Living is seeking a caring Care Giver to provide hands-on care and emotional support to residents in a safe, home-like environment. The role focuses on assisting with daily living, maintaining cleanliness, and promoting residents’ independence.

Qualified individuals are expected to have a CNA certification, a HS diploma or GED, and strong communication and customer service skills. This position emphasizes compassionate care and teamwork within a community-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aide certification is preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age; prior experience with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas.
• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident.
• Participating and assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating).
• Engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities.
