Job summary

REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family, is seeking a part-time caregiver in Columbus, OH to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Shifts include mornings, afternoons, and alternating weekend coverage, with pay at $17 per hour and requirements for a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in intellectual disabilities, behavioral health, or mental health preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene and daily living tasks.
• Support participants to engage in community activities and meaningful routines.
• Help participants work toward developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Develop genuine relationships and advocate for participants’ well-being.
