Job summary

REM Community Services, part of Sevita, is hiring a full-time caregiver to support individuals with developmental disabilities in Ohio. The role includes evening shifts (3 pm–11 pm) with every-other-weekend rotation and requires a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Benefits include a full package for full-time staff and opportunities for growth. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, and six months of human services experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable and responsible.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants with complex needs and developmental goals.
• Encourage participation in community activities and preferred routines.
• Build real, meaningful relationships with the individuals served.
• Collaborate with supervisors and teammates to ensure participant well-being.
