Job summary

Sevita's REM West Virginia is seeking a caring caregiver to support individuals in group homes and waiver settings. You will help with daily living, personal care, and community activities, building meaningful relationships with participants.

This full-time day position requires a valid driver's license and offers competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities. Schedule: Tues–Sat, 2pm–10pm, with pay-on-demand options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Ability to cook, clean, assist with personal care and manage in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Help participants grow, learn and live well by building real relationships.
• Assist with daily living activities, budgeting, dental hygiene, exercise and nutrition.
• Provide personal care support and help manage behavioral challenges in group homes.
• Foster community participation and maintain a patient, compassionate approach.
